ROME, GA – The Georgia Life Alliance (GLA) has released the results of the 2014 Primary Candidate Questionnaire. GLA surveyed candidates in contested State House and State Senate primaries on issues concerning life.
“As Georgia’s newest pro-life organization and official National Right to Life affiliate, we look forward to playing an increasing role in informing Georgia’s voters of where candidates and elected officials stand on the issues of Life,” said GLA Executive Director Emily Matson. “We are pleased with the number of responses we’ve received for this first round of questionnaires and plan on seeing an even bigger response in the future.”
Some campaigns did not respond to multiple inquiries from GLA, while two State House candidates, Republican Beth Beskin and Democrat Yasmin Neal, directly refused to fill out the questionnaire.
To see the list of which candidates responded in each race, visit GeorgiaLifeAlliance.com/candidate-questionnaire-results. You will also find the full results of each candidate’s individual questionnaire.
The Georgia Life Alliance advocates for the vulnerable, the abandoned, and the defenseless: the baby still in her mother’s womb, the orphaned child desperate for a safe and loving home, and the woman who finds herself in a desperate situation.
We will work tirelessly to bring attention and healing to the struggles of the unborn and other at-risk groups, endeavoring to help secure life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness for all Georgians.
