ATLANTA- Following weeks of targeted effort to inform and motivate pro-life voters in Georgia, the Georgia Life Alliance Committee is proud to congratulate Governor Nathan Deal and Senator-elect David Perdue on their victories in Tuesday’s election.
Through its network of staff and volunteers in the state, Georgia Life Alliance Committee distributed over 100,000 voter guides regarding the issue of Life and in relation to the U.S. Senate race. In addition, Georgia Life Alliance Committee purchased numerous radio ads on key stations and targeted social media advertising, and generated 150,000 phone calls to inform Georgia voters on the issue of Life in this mid-term election.
“It was our honor to endorse David Perdue and Governor Nathan Deal in their respective races,” said Emily Matson, Executive Director of Georgia Life Alliance.
“Governor Deal has been and will continue to be a tireless advocate for protecting innocent unborn life. We further appreciate David Perdue’s vocal and repeated commitment to protect the unborn and we look forward to developing that relationship with him as he serves in the U.S. Senate.”
Georgia Life Alliance also wishes to thank National Right to Life Committee for partnering in the voter guide distribution as well as committing, from a national level, to promote pro-life candidates in Georgia.
“We believe our modest efforts in this election, the fervent commitment of pro-life voters, and the willingness of our Georgia statesmen to stand for life demonstrate that Georgia is makings strides toward a thorough and genuine culture of life in this great State.”
