ATLANTA- The Georgia Life Alliance (GLA) commends Governor Nathan Deal for launching a state inquiry into Planned Parenthood in Georgia. The Governor’s action follows the call by GLA and other passionate pro-life voices to investigate after a report by the Center for Medical Progress revealed Planned Parenthood’s Sr. Director of Medical Services discussing the selection, procurement, compensation process, and apparent distribution of fetal organs, bone structures, blood, and other specimen.

“We commend Governor Nathan Deal for recognizing the urgent need to address this horrific reality and quickly investigate the activities of Planned Parenthood in Georgia,” said Executive Director Emily Matson. “There is much more work ahead to ensure that the State of Georgia is not a sanctuary for the harvesting and marketing of dismembered infant bodies. We will extend our help and stand behind our Governor as he undertakes this crucial mission.”
